About Integrated Hose & Fittings in Adelaide
Independent, hands-on and built around service
A South Australian family business combining decades of hydraulic hose experience with workshop manufacturing, onsite support and direct customer relationships.
Integrated Hose & Fittings in Adelaide
Integrated Hose & Fittings, IHF, is an independent hydraulic hose and fittings business based in Ridgehaven, Adelaide.
Established more than 12 years ago, IHF supplies and manufactures hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, stocks fittings and related products, and supports customers through workshop replacement, 24/7 onsite service and ongoing hose management.
Behind the business is more than 30 years of hydraulic hose industry experience. That practical knowledge shapes how we approach a job, from identifying an unfamiliar fitting to working through a hose requirement across larger machinery or equipment.
OUR STORY
Built around face-to-face service and workmanship
IHF was established after Brenton had spent many years working in the hydraulic hose industry, including running a franchise.
Over time, he saw face-to-face service and workmanship becoming less prominent in the industry. After more than 30 years of experience, he wanted to build a business around a different way of working: direct contact with customers, practical knowledge and taking responsibility for the work being done.
That became the foundation for Integrated Hose & Fittings.
More than 12 years later, the business has developed into a combination of workshop manufacturing, product supply, onsite breakdown support and ongoing hose-management work for customers across Adelaide.
CORE TEAM
The core team behind Integrated Hose & Fittings
The experience within IHF has been built through years of hands-on work in the hydraulic hose industry, both in the workshop and out in the field.
Brenton – Director
Brenton has more than 30 years of hydraulic hose industry experience and is the owner and driving force behind IHF.
His knowledge across hose, fittings and applications helps the business work through customer requirements rather than simply supply a product.
Wayde – Workshop and operations
Wayde has worked in the business since it was established more than 12 years ago.
His experience spans workshop manufacturing and onsite work, giving him practical knowledge across the different hose, fitting and equipment requirements that come through the business.
OW WE WORK
Customers deal directly with the people doing the work
When customers call, they are speaking with the same people involved in the workshop and onsite work. That direct contact is useful when a hose has failed, an adaptor is difficult to identify, or a maintenance team needs to work through a larger requirement.
It also means the conversation is based around the job in front of us rather than simply directing customers toward one standard product.
For a failed hose, customers can visit our Ridgehaven trade counter, or we can provide onsite support where the equipment is operating.
That may involve trade counter & hose replacement or our 24/7 on-site hydraulic hose service, depending on the situation. For larger customers, our support can also extend into hydraulic hose management & preventive maintenance, including inspections, planned replacement, complete machine re-hosing and managed stock arrangements.
CAPABILITIES
Workshop capability backed by stock and equipment
Our Ridgehaven workshop supports much more than one-off hose replacement.
IHF has more than $100,000 in stock and equipment, with hydraulic hose, hose tails, adaptors and related products held locally. Where something is not available from workshop stock, we can draw on our main supplier in Wingfield and other supplier relationships.
Our broader capability includes:
- Hydraulic and industrial hose assembly manufacturing.
Hose, fittings and related products
Our product range covers hydraulic hose assemblies, industrial hose & hose assemblies, thermoplastic hydraulic hose, PTFE & specialist hose assemblies, and hydraulic fittings, couplings & adaptors.
We also source hydraulic components and hose assembly equipment through our supplier network, giving customers access to products for workshop, mobile and industrial hydraulic requirements.
SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS
Independent enough to source around the application
IHF works closely with a main hose and fittings supplier whose hose and hose tails are tested together as matched systems using specified crimp dimensions.
That relationship gives us access to established hose-system information and broader supplier stock when required.
At the same time, IHF remains independent. We are not restricted to one exclusive product range, so when a customer requests a particular product or an application calls for something different, we can source through other suppliers.
For customers, the product brand is often secondary to getting the right hose, fitting or component for the job and dealing with people who understand the application.
INDUSTRIES
Supporting hydraulic and industrial applications
Our work spans a range of industries where hydraulic and industrial hose forms part of machinery, processing or fluid-transfer systems. Each industry brings different hose, fitting and service requirements, from beverage transfer and processing hose through to high-pressure hydraulic assemblies on machinery and mobile equipment.
